Purpose and Passion

Blake Edwards joined Texas State University as a graduate student in philosophy in the fall of 2014. Some people make quick impressions and I left Texas State knowing Blake would have an enduring legacy on campus because he just “got it.” You’ll know why after listening.

In today’s podcast, we discuss how schools have to adapt to reach students, why passion and purpose are so important in a person’s development, and the way reading often changes outcomes. There is also a failed attempt at comparing skyscrapers and coffee cups.
